Position General Manager - OTR Tire Retread Plant

A well established multi-location Independent Tire Dealer is in search of a high caliber "General Manager" for it's OTR retread plant ".

A great opportunity for an experienced tire professional that knows how to run a business.

As the General Manager you will be responsible for the entire operation. You will be working with the plant suopervisor and the sales team to create a successful team.

Persons with truck tire retread plant experience and persons with commercial tire center management experience are urged to apply.

You do not have to be an expert in OTR retreading, but a general understanding of OTR tires is preferred.

Job Duties:

  • Full P & L responsibilities
  • Work directly with customers to ensure you are meeting their needs
  • Work with the plant supervisor to ensure training and coaching is provived for all plant positions
  • Communicating and insuring daily production goals are met for the team
  • Maintain a high level of quality
  • Maximize production output
  • Other duties as assigned
 

Required Experience:

  • Must possess at least 2 years commercial tire or OTR management experience
  • Must be able to multi task in a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to relate to others in a diverse culture
  • Communication skills
  • Strong performance & work ethics
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer literate
