Position Technical Services Coordinator

One of the premier International Manufacturer's of passenger, light truck, and medium truck tires worldwide is seeking a "Technical Services Coordinator "for the western states.

  • This position is available immediately
  • Must be willing to travel extensively in North America and Canada (About 50%)
  • You must be legal to work and reside in the USA
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus!

This position requires recent experience with passenger, light truck & medium truck applications. Knowledge of tire characteristics is a must! Requires experience with physical tire inspection and analysis, quality analysis and reporting.

Job Duties:

  • Provide technical support to commercial and marketing activities
  • Gather information and report all product quality concerns
  • Physically inspect tires, report warranty claims and provide monthly report
  • Analysis any property damage or liability claims
  • Coordinate product evaluation to determine their performance in the field
  • Conduct training and educational sessions to both internal and external customers on tire concepts, applications, service, maintenance, fleet economy and tire inspection and analysis
  • Prepare and update training materials
  • Heavy customer interaction in the field - up to 50% travel
 

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years experience with inspecting passenger, light truck and medium truck tires
  • Manufacturer's training in adjustment procedures and reporting
  • Experience with product quality reporting
  • Strong moral and ethical character
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
  • Computer literate
  • Able to effectively analyze the customer and tire related situations
