Position Outside Tire Sales Manager

This company specializes in the development, manufacturing, sale and distribution of full lines of agricultural and purpose built work tires.  We are rapidly growing and looking for an "Outside Tire Sales Manager".

  • You must be legal to work in the USA
  • Travel requirement = 80%

The OSM is expected to be fully knowledgeable about the Company’s products and be able to make presentations to prospective and current customers regarding features and benefits of various product lines as well as specific new products.

Job Duties:

  • Prospect and develop new accounts within assigned territory
  • Maintain and further develop customer relationships with assigned accounts
  • Make presentations to customers on various product lines as well as features, benefits and applications for specific products
  • Provide training to new Field Account Manager(s).
  • Achieve specific sales goals with assigned customer accounts
  • Support and implement sales strategy developed by RSM for the region
  • Support and implement Company’s marketing and sales programs and initiatives
  • Coordinate with activities of Field Account Manager for territory 
  • Participate in Company and/or customer sponsored promotional events
  • Maintain a daily sales call report and provide oral and written reports to the Regional Sales Manager
  • Communicate and coordinate with inside sales personnel supporting territory and region
  • Provide assistance and/or guidance to customers or end users on any process issues.
  Required Experience
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent life/work experience. Minimum of 2-3 years of commercial tire sales experience with account responsibilities in either an inside or outside tire sales position.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional and courteous in all forms of communication. Ability to write emails, letters and other routine correspondence in a clear and professional manner.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Ability to learn other software as needed.
