Large International tire manufacturer is seeking "National Radial OTR Tire Sales Manager for the United States.

Experience with container direct sales programs is helpful

Job Duties:

  • Meet established sales goals and quotas
  • Solicit order by calling on (by phone or in person) existing and prospective customers
  • Execute marketing plans and programs
  • Assist in establishing market goals
  • Assist customer in providing current forecasts with regard to their business and work with Marketing Department to develop overall forecasts for production purposes
  • Provide plan for growth of product offerings through existing and prospective customers
  • Review and analyze customer needs, volume potential and brand strategy;
  • Represent company at Trade Shows, Dealer Shows and trade association shows to ensure awareness, growth and expansion of our product(s) lines in the marketplace
  • Monitor and analyze competitor’s products and programs to ensure competitiveness and be able to capitalize on market opportunities
  • Additional duties, assignments, and projects as directed by management
  • Frequent ground and air travel required - up to 80% and more as required
 

Required Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED Required: 4-year college degree in Business and/or Marketing preferred
  • At least ten (5) years related work experience within tire or related industry
  • Effective organization, presentation, communication (verbal & written), and interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work hours will vary to meet business needs and required performance
  • Maintain home office and variable work environment
