Position Aftermarket Tire Sales Operations Support Person

This company specializes in the development, manufacturing, sales and distribution of full lines of agricultural and purpose built work tires.  We are rapidly growing and looking for a "Aftermarket Tire Sales Operations Support Person".

  • Position may require some travel to visit customers, attend trade shows, and attend product training. About 10%

This position is primarily responsible for providing sales operations support. Position would have responsibilities to organize sales programs and assist with ensuring correct invoicing documents to customers.  It would have the responsibility to support the Sales Operations Managers with reporting including optimization of reports as well as adding additional reports as needed by the sales team.  The Sales Operation Support would help backup the Inside Sales and Customer Service team as needed with the phones as well as processing of credit memos.  

As with all Alliance personnel, this position is required to provide and maintain an excellent standard of service to customers and to the Company’s sales staff and to cooperate and communicate effectively with the Company’s Finance, Operations and other departments as necessary and appropriate. This position has advancement potential and is best suited for candidates with the skill set and the drive to grow within the sales organization. Advancement in the Company’s sales organization may provide opportunities to relocate to a variety of places in the U.S.

Job Duties:

  • Program Assistant – acts as a “clearing house” for all Direct Sales Orders placed during Spring Dating program (or other programs in place), maintains and updates a database of orders processed during the program, confirms orders with customers (through Order Agreements), obtains any required fill items as necessary, maintains communications with customer to keep them informed about order status, reviews all invoices before final submission to customers.
  • Provides reporting functions as necessary to all Sales (daily sales reports, sales reports for sales staff, etc.)
  • Participates in Ship To additions as required
  • Assists with On-Line maintenance
  • Assists with phones to answer customer calls for inquiries, orders – especially in the absence of other Sales Support Team members
  • Support with processing Credit Memos as required
  • Help to maintain internal system databases
  • General administrative support to Sales Support Team, Operations Managers, and Administration as necessary.
 

Required Experience

  • Associates degree or higher preferred (but not required). Minimum of (2) years of tire sales experience in the customer sales support
  • Persons with retail tire sales experience are urged to apply
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional, courteous and patient in all forms of communication. Ability to write emails, letters and other routine correspondence in a clear and professional manner
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Ability to learn other software as needed
