Position Regional Key Account Sales Managers

Company Tire & Wheel Related Balancing, Sealers and Wheel Refurbishing Products
 

Well established leading provider of tire and wheel related maintenance, balancing and safety products designed to increase tire mileage is seeking "Key Account Sales Managers" for the above mentioned territories.

Commercial tire experience is a plus!

Position requires recent experience in the tire industry. If qualified, you need to investigate these opportunities today.

Job Duties:

Develops and executes sales strategies and tactics to maximize sales of company's products and services to assigned key accounts, ensuring that the company remains the preferred provider to those organizations.  Prospects within the assigned territory to identify and develop relationships with prospective high volume distributors, dealers, and end users (fleets).

  • Assess/build relationships with existing key accounts and to identify/qualify prospects.
  • Develops specific sales plans to enhance existing key account relationships and, consequently, increase sales of Company products and services through those key accounts.
  • Qualifies and makes sales calls on prospective key accounts, identifying their needs and providing information as well as quotations on the Company’s products and services, their features and capabilities.
  • Provides product training as needed to assigned key account personnel.
  • Conducts “ride alongs” as needed; providing product support during sales presentations and creating product demand.
  • Reports regularly to the Company on progress toward assigned revenue goals, as well as competition, changing customer requirements, responses to Company products & pricing, etc.
  • Submits expense reports on a timely basis.
  • Participates in Company-sponsored training activities; product training, sales skills/tactics training.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Travel within the assigned region - up to 65%


 

Required Experience:

  • Business knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of progressive experiences in the marketing and sales of tire related products and services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with Company leadership and other staff as well as assigned Distributors, National Accounts, Key Dealers, and end users/fleets.
  • Sound organizational and planning, and analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of B2B product/service marketing and sales techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of the transportation/trucking industry.
  • Able to travel independently; possess a valid driver’s license
  • Computer proficient
