This position comes with major corporate support. You will not be spending half of your time delivering tires. Can you sell? If so, that is what you will be doing. This company wants a true sales professional. Someone that can reach out and find new customers. Someone that loves to make cold calls. They will get others to do the pickup and delivery of tires and related services.

Duties
Strategic cold calling on non national account trucking fleets
Communicate with the commercial location managers
Maintain existing business through excellent customer service
Negotiations and customer follow up - MAKE THE CLOSE
Provide market information to management
Fleet inspections as required
Value added "tire performance" calculations and tracking

Required experience
Customer sales in a commercial environment - Three years experience
Complete understanding of commercial new tires, retread & service programs for large fleets
Ability to make sales presentations to large fleets
Excellent customer service skills
Communication skills - outgoing team player!
Average computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Word)
A strong sense of urgency
A high degree of personal integrity
A valid drivers license with a clean record
Associates degree or equivalent business experience
OTR experience helpful
