Position Logistics Planner/Inventory Manager - Container Loads of Tires
Location Franklin, Tennessee (remote opportunity may be available)

General Summary:

The Logistics Planner responsibilities include organizing and monitoring inbound containers and warehouse inventory management. The goal is to manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.

The candidate will need to possess experience with importing container loads of tires, and assuring they meet the customers expectations of delivery schedules.

This position can be done remotely if you're not domiciled near the office. But, occasional visits to the office will be required.

Position Includes:

  • Salary

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Container tracking and timely customer notifications
  • Primary liaison between management, sales department, and factory
  • Management of export documents and packing lists for warehouse and customer orders
  • Weekly shipment reporting
  • Reconciliation of shipments for invoicing               
  • Warehouse inventory management
  • Management of inventory loss 
 

Required Experience:

  • H.S. diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred but not required
  • Or, five (5) years or more relevant experience in container load sales/logistics, some warehouse inventory management experience is helpful
