Note: This location does not provide truck tire service, either in-house or road service.

Well established supplier of truck tires is seeking an experienced "Branch Manager" for their new Distribution Center. It's open and ready to roll, it simply needs a good leader. Customer service will be of the highest priority.

Job Duties:

  • The Branch Manager will ensure customers receive high service levels, complete and on-time delivery, within safe, efficient, and effective operations and at a competitive cost
  • Directs team to use space effectively and efficiently and maintain a clean, organized and safe environment
  • Builds and facilitates effective team in distribution center to facilitate high customer service levels
  • Inspires staff and employees to reach their highest abilities. 
  • Performs managerial duties including:
    • Interviews and evaluates applicants and hires qualified candidates for open positions in the distribution center.
    • Conducts performance appraisals and makes compensation recommendations.
    • Adheres to equal employment opportunity and nondiscriminatory guidelines.
  • Plays a key role in the development and implementation of company-wide programs and executive initiatives involving distribution
  • Complete financial responsibility for operations
  • Holds team meetings, provide effective communications and leadership for warehousing and delivery systems
  • Coaching and training of all personnel
  • Ensure overall internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Some but not excessive hands-on responsibilities
 

Required Experience:

  • Management experience leading a team in the tire industry or a closely related industry
  • Sales and customer service experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Highly effective at training, developing and motivating a high performance team 
  • Skilled decision maker
  • Understanding of tire distribution and route formulation
  • Tire knowledge that includes truck tires - Preferred
  • Computer literate
