Company International Tire Manufacturer of a Highly Recognized Brand
 

Established international tire manufacturer is seeking Sales Managers for all types of tires. You don't need to be an expert in all facets, but you should be well-versed in Passenger and Medium Truck tires.

As the Sales Manager, your primary duties will be maintaining and growing relationships with new and existing clients that fit the company's overall sales strategy. This position with require travel on a regular basis, typically up to 60-70%.

To be successful in the role, the SM must be familiar with sales concepts, practices and procedures. This position will require personal interaction with customers where the SM will be required to present themselves in a business and professional manner

This position requires recent experience in the container and wholesale tire industry. If qualified, you need to investigate this opportunity today.
 

Position Includes:

  • Excellent salary, plus commission - this is a W-2 position

Job Duties:

  • Seek out and obtain new accounts through research of the market to identify target customers, their current product offerings, establish priorities and recommend the strategy necessary to obtain their business.
  • Grow existing customers by obtaining new orders.
  • Plan and organize daily work schedule to call on customers relative to our business.
  • Attend trade shows, buying group events and other related functions to increase market and customer development.
  • Visit customers on a regular basis to maintain a strong relationship and inform them of new products and product transitions. Provides product training as necessary.
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports including competitor information.
  • Submit monthly sales forecast and work with team to ensure regular product availability.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions, making recommendations to management.
  • Follow-up with both internal and external customers to insure all sales/marketing programs are properly communicated, implemented and fully supported in the most effective manner possible.
  • Inform the accounting department of any changes to the customers pricing or programs as they occur
  • Develop and maintain profitable and stable business relationships with dealers and personnel
  • Other duties a assigned
Travel up to 60-70%
 

Required Experience:

  • This position requires a degree in business management or marketing and/or 5 or more years sales experience in the tire industry.
  • Excellent oral and written skills       
  • Professional presentation skills.
  • Well organized and detail oriented.
  • Self-motivated and strong team player.
  • Professional sales, negotiations and customer service skills.
  • Computer literacy with understanding of presentation tools such as Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Planning and development skills.
  • Time management.
  • Must enjoy working in a team environment while also working independently to accomplish goals.
