Position Tire Sales Representatives - Container and Truck Load
Location Anywhere, USA - Must be within one hour of major airport
Company International Tire Manufacturer and Distributor - w/regional US warehouses!
 

Established international tire manufacturer and US distributor is seeking "Representatives for Tire Sales" of PCR, Light Truck and TBR.

Special note: You must be legal to work in the US to be eligible for these positions.

As a Tire Sales Representative, your primary duties will be maintaining and growing relationships with new and existing clients that fit the companies overall sales strategy. This position with require travel on a regular basis, possibly up to 50%.

To be successful in the role, the Sales Representative must be familiar with sales concepts, practices and procedures of container and truck load sales. This position will require personal interaction with customers where the Sales Representative will be required to present themselves in a business and professional manner

Position Includes:

Job Duties:

  • Seek out and obtain new accounts through research of the market to identify target customers, their current product offerings, establish priorities and recommend the strategy necessary to obtain their business.
  • Grow existing customers by obtaining new orders.
  • Plan and organize daily work schedule to call on customers relative to our business.
  • Attend trade shows, buying group events and other related functions to increase market and customer development.
  • Visit customers on a regular basis to maintain a strong relationship and inform them of new products and product transitions. Provides product training as necessary.
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports.
  • Submit monthly sales forecast and work with team to ensure regular product availability.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions, making recommendations to management.
  • Follow-up with both internal and external customers to insure all sales/marketing programs are properly communicated, implemented and fully supported in the most effective manner possible.
  • Inform the accounting department of any changes to the customers pricing or programs as they occur
  • Develop and maintain profitable and stable business relationships with tire distibutors and dealers
  • Other duties a assigned

Travel up to 50%
 

Required Experience:

  • This position requires 3 or more years sales experience in the tire industry.
  • Excellent oral and written skills       
  • Professional presentation skills.
  • Well organized and detail oriented.
  • Self-motivated and strong team player.
  • Professional sales, negotiations and customer service skills.
  • Computer literacy with understanding of presentation tools such as Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Planning and development skills.
  • Time management.
  • Must enjoy working in a team environment while also working independently to accomplish goals.
