Position OTR/Truck Tire Center Assistant Manager (Manager in Training)

Large regional tire company providing OTR/truck tire sales, servicing, mechanical repairs, and retread operations is seeking a talented "Assistant Truck Tire Center Manager" for it's Kingsport, TN location.

The OTR/Truck Tire Center Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a commercial tire center who services trucks, earthmover, industrial, agricultural, passenger, and light truck customers.

Job Duties:

  • Tire and mechanical staff supervision
  • Manage the front counter activity
  • Provide leadership and training to all personnel in the tire center
  • Ordering inventory and supplies
  • Processes payroll and assure accuracy
  • Conduct customer fleet review visits with top customers
  • Heavy customer interaction within the facility
 

Required Experience:

  • Management experience in the commercial tire industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
  • People development and coaching skills.
  • Must have commercial tire experience
  • Computer literate
  • Complete understanding of commercial new tires, retreads & services
