Regional Managers are responsible for driving profitability along with the development and growth of the organization. The Regional Manager oversees operations for the assigned territory, coordinates activities, and develops the professional abilities of all members of their team. This position is responsible for all financial reports, metrics and standards, and enforcing company policies and procedures to meet the needs of our customers.

Job Duties:

• Direct store managers, within the region, to achieve sales and profit targets.
• Ensure proactive solicitation of profitable business opportunities while providing proper support to existing accounts and identifying new growth opportunities.
• Address the strategic and tactical needs of the organization and implement the necessary changes.
• Identify specific customers where special emphasis needs to be applied to increase profitability.
• Ensure that prompt and effective communication occurs within your region.
• Manage people by directing and coaching.
• Attract, retain and motivate personnel to support the long­term stability and growth of the company and to promote effective participation of team in relation to corporate objectives.
• Evaluate store operations personnel in terms of their position description & conduct.
• Develop sales objectives for each store manager within your region.
• Control regional expense budgets and ensure that all territory records are maintained in an accurate and current manner.
• Manage business processes and implement improvements by improving process efficiencies and managing interface with other departments and divisions.
• Work closely with sales managers to implement pricing strategies and facilitating price and mix improvements within each store location.
• Maintain an on­going awareness of competitors’ practices and assist in the development of pricing approaches to be competitive.
• Identify opportunities and market new product lines through customer needs­analysis and knowledge of competitor products.
• Assist in coordination, monitoring, and managing inventory and production planning to meet the forecast and unit objectives per key account.
• Responsible for inventory control and management within the region, including timely forecasting to assure product availability.

 

Required Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • At least five (5) years work experience within commercial tire industry
  • Effective organization, presentation, communication (verbal & written), and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate
  • Analytical, interpretive, and basic math skills
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
