Position Regional Truck Tire Sales Manager - Container Load Direct Sales

Large International tire manufacturer is seeking a "Regional Truck Tire Sales Manager" for the region of the North Central States.

Products include Truck, OTR, IND and ST. Containers can be mixed load.

Experience with container direct sales programs is required

Position Includes:

Job Duties:

  • Meet established sales goals and quotas
  • Solicit orders; within assign territory, by calling on (by phone or in person) existing and prospective customers
  • Execute marketing plans and programs
  • Assist in establishing market goals
  • Assist customer in providing current forecasts with regard to their business and work with Marketing Department to develop overall forecasts for production purposes
  • Provide plan for growth of division through existing and prospective customers
  • Review and analyze customer needs, volume potential and brand strategy;
  • Represent company at Trade Shows, Dealer Shows and trade association shows to ensure awareness, growth and expansion of our product(s) lines in the marketplace
  • Monitor and analyze competitor’s products and programs to ensure competitiveness and be able to capitalize on market opportunities
  • Additional duties, assignments, and projects as directed by management

Required Experience:

  • At least five (5) years work experience within tire or a related industry
  • Effective organization, presentation, communication (verbal & written), and interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills


  • Travel requirements ground and air are three nights a week four out of six weeks plus some events such as trade shows
  • Work hours will vary to meet business needs and required performance
  • Maintain a home office
