The OTR and truck tire business is still rolling strong in SE Florida. This regional OTR and truck tire dealer is seeking a "General Manager" and a "Commercial Tire Sales Rep" to keep it going strong.

Bilingual candidates are highly preferred but not absolutely required

Position Includes:

Job Duties - General Manager

  • Oversee the locations' entire operation including: personnel, dispatching, billing, inventory.
  • Coach and train your team
  • Support our sales team
  • Provide our customers with quality, timely service
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and control
  • Manage company assets within your area of responsibility, ie. Inventory, trucks, and equipment
  • Provide a safe and clean work environment for your team and customers
  • Maintain locations legal requirements
  • Ensure proper maintenance of trucks and equipment
  • Plan Service teams weekly work schedule including night call rotation
  • Maintain locations profitability and financial stability
  • Set the standard for excellence with regard to customer service

Job Duties - Sales:

  • Making sales calls on current and future customers
  • Fleet inspections as required
  • Ability to sell value
  • Ability to forecast sales and market penetration
  • Heavy customer interaction outside of the facility
 

Required Experience - Management:

  • Customer service in a commercial environment
  • Prior supervision of commercial sales and service personnel
  • Good understanding of OTR and commercial new tires, retreads & services

Required Experience - Sales:

  • Customer service in a commercial environment
  • Communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good understanding of OTR and commercial tires, retreads & service
