Job description:
The Site Manager is responsible for leading a group of service technicians who dismount and mount tires that have been cycled through the retread plant. The Site Manager will also develop delivery strategies to other company branches served by the distribution center.

You will need to be hands on, the better team you hire and train the less physical you'll need to be. The goal is for the Site Manager to not do physical labor.

Job Duties:

  • Manage the flow of inbound and outbound tires and wheels
  • Have team dismount tires to be sent for retreading or repair
  • Use established tracking systems to keep track of customers tires
  • Send dismounted tires to retread plant using your locations delivery trucks
  • If customer desires send wheels for refurbishing
  • Once both the tires and wheels have been processed, remount for delivery back company's service locations
  • Hire, manage and train employees for accuracy and safety
  • Monitor and manage monthly inventory for the site location.
  • Develop a positive culture while setting expectations for all associates.
  • Conduct monthly safety meetings and consistently apply safety topics in daily action plan.
  • Facilitate monthly facility audit.
  • Promote culture of teamwork, positively, and growth for all areas and personnel.
  • Responsible for utilizing and generating reports through company's software systems.
 

Required Education and Experience:

  • At least 2 years' experience within the tire industry or a related management position.
  • Responsibility and experience managing commercial service personnel is preferred.

Certificates and Licenses:

  • Commercial TIA certification preferred.
  • Forklift certification, obtained after employment.
  • Valid Driver's License and must be insurable to drive by company standards.
