Leading multi-state OTR and Specialty Tire Dealer is seeking a "Regional Sales Manager" to cover Columbus, Ohio , the state of Ohio and Western, PA, Kentucky, and Indiana.

Core target customer will be equipment rental companies but also any company that uses small OTR and Specialty Tires.

Most tires are sold as assemblies, on a wheel exchange program.

This position requires recent outside sales management experience in the commercial tire industry. If qualified you need to investigate today.

Job Duties:

The Regional Sales Manager is primarily responsible for soliciting and acquiring new accounts while maintaining and growing existing accounts.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain existing business base
  • Generate new business
  • Build rapport promoting trust and brand loyalty
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals
  • Develop and maintain high level of product knowledge
  • Identify and analyze territory sales trends and opportunities
  • Develop a marketing strategy for the territory to create growth and profitability
 

Required Experience:

  • Be a self-starter and self-motivated
  • Industrious and determined to win
  • Knowledge of tires and the Industrial and OTR tire industry
  • Exceptional Communication skills written and oral
  • Ability to travel and work remotely during the week
  • Utilize the CRM program to achieve efficiencies and customer follow-up
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Power point
  • Good driving record
